Socle Media Solution intends to provide high performance MPEG4
video compression/decompression engines as well as video input/output
interfaces for a media processing SoC application.
There are 5 IPs included in Socle MPEG4 Solution: MPEG4 Encoder, MPEG4
Decoder, VIP (Video Input), VOP (Video Output) and I2S.
The MPEG4 codec solution herein support MPEG4 Simple Profile L0-L3
and above. To achieve SoC and media application performance, these
fully hardwired MPEG4 IPs could effectively reduce the CPU loading
and achieve higher resolution at D1@ 30 frames/second. The 12S provides
APB to I2S interface for offering a serial link of audio
data transfer. They also adopt AHB master and slave interface for
easily plugging into AMBA architecture SoC platform such as Socle
Leopard Solution.
